About the position

As a specialist in general medicine or geriatrician with us, you will have a varied and meaningful job.

Your tasks include, among other things:

• Regular outpatient work, including annual visits, investigations, urgent visits, and minor surgical procedures
• Outpatient visits, home visits, and digital healthcare meetings
• Teamwork with nurses
• Ongoing quality work both at your own unit and collectively within primary care in Tiohundra
• Supervision of students and other professional categories

About you

For this position, you need to:

• Be a specialist in general medicine with Swedish authorization
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience in primary care
• Have a driver's license and driving experience

About us

Hallstavik Health Center is located in the northern part of Norrtälje municipality and is the northernmost health center in the Stockholm region, having received high results in the national patient survey for several years in a row. We have about 4800 registered patients and 16 employees. We have a team for mental health, a social worker, as well as BVC and MVC.

With us, you will find friendly colleagues with high competence and long experience. We are a stable workgroup characterized by a good working climate. We have the advantages of a smaller health center, such as a strong team spirit and short decision-making paths.

We have a team for mental health, a social worker, and several nurse-led specialist clinics such as diabetes, asthma/COPD, heart failure, hypertension, and geriatric clinics, as well as a clinic for cognitive impairment. We are about 40 km from the emergency and urgent care clinics in Norrtälje, which often leads to patient meetings of a more urgent nature.

Tiohundra has 5 health centers and 1 branch health center. We collaborate on quality and development issues both with the hospital and other operations within the company.

We are part of Tiohundra – the complete healthcare company in Roslagen.
